My crazy love of all things sun, sea and sand inspired my two new sea themed wall hangings and to celebrate their launch I've pulled together a quick post with some ideas for a sea themed kids room.

Let's start with the big stuff...furniture and lighting.
This Sebra bed from Scandiborn could double up as a submarine and is perfect for growing little ones as it can be used as a junior bed and then pulled out to a full size adult single bed. A Mustard Made Twinny locker in Slate is the perfect wardrobe option as it has so loads of adjustable shelves and hanging rails hidden behind its beuatiful blue grey doors. Making organising clothes and toys easy as pie. I'm a big fan of Mustard Made lockers since they launched in the UK ( we have a couple in our house and I'm already planning another addition!).
The scallop wall trend that is all over instagram at the moment doesn't look like it's going anywhere fast, but if you're not ready to commit to it on your walls these That's Mine shelves also from Scandiborn are the great cheat! Fill them up with all your little ones beautiful artwork and most precious treasures.
Last but not least how about this incredible rattan shell lampshade from The Den and Now...what a statement!

This beautiful Liewood bedding I'd found at The Modern Nursery. would look so good on the Sebra bed, or any bed! The print is really fun, plus it's made from the softest organic cotton so it will be super snuggly. Talking of snuggly I've fallen in love with these lobster and octopus soft toys. The Mabu Home lobster is a massive 83cm long, the perfect cuddle buddy!
If I had my way I'd layer up tons of these lovely Moi Mili seashell cushions, they come in so many lovely colours are would make a lovely little reading area.
And finally a bit more storage in the shape of this H&M basket with scales but the question is are they fish or mermaid scales?! Baskets like this are great for kids to chuck all those random bits and bobs they collect.

Of course I think my make waves and vitamin sea plaques are perfect for an under the sea themed bedroom. I always want to add an element of encouragement and positivity to any room and I hope my make waves plaque will be a reminder that it's ok to go against the flow and make waves. When it comes to vitamin sea I really believe that it is one of the essential vitamins!
I love mixing textures on the walls, the is awesome hammerhead shark from Argos would make a real statement, but his soft features and friendly face mean he's not about to scare anyone before bed!
I'm obsessed with narwhales and when I spotted this cute narwhale bunting I had to include it, it would look fab hung underneath the scallop shelf. Staying on the whale theme this Mummy (or Daddy) and baby whale print from Pretty in Print is just so gorgeous. Letting our babies know we've always got them.
So that is pretty much it for my round up, but I did just want to share three paint colours with you. The three blue toned valspar paints I pulled out would create a peaceful, soothing and calm space for little ones to relax and play.

I hope you found this useful, if you've got any questions at all about any of the items please do just drop me an email.
