To celebrate the launch of my new reusable rainbow happy birthday bunting which can be used year after year, I've pulled together some of my favourite birthday pieces that you can also use time and time again.

The tableware and table linen can really set the tone for a celebration and reusable doesn't have to mean dull as these colourful pieces demonstrate.
Starting with table linen if you can't decide which if these gorgeous tablecloths and napkins from Poppy and Honesty are your favourite why not mix and match them!
If you decide to go with a plain table cloth these melamine cups and plates from Berylune and Kidly respectively will be sure to add a pop of colour. Another idea would be to use these bamboo sets from Meri Meri.
Finally we all know that the cake is the most important part of any birthday table and this magnificent cake stand from Marigold and Lettice will give it the moment it deserves.

So your cake is all ready on its beautiful cake stand and now it's time for the finishing touches...
We're big fans of Bow Beaus in our house and our creature cake toppers come out for birthdays, Christmas and Easter. For an extra magical touch you could add in a mini happy birthday rainbow banner.
Having a name cake topper rather than a number means you won't need to order a new topper each year, but your cake will still feel personal. These plywood toppers from Roscoe Rules are our favourite.
Jane Kent is another firm favourite in our house and these birthday flags are special enough to stand alone, but also a good neutral to use alongside other decorations.

A badge is a must for a birthday and these glittery stars from Jane Kent are the best. Again if you opt for a generic birthday message like the stars pictured you can use these every year. If you prefer something a little more subtle Jodie Gaul's plywood badges are just the thing for you.
We also love a birthday crown in our house, can you tell we go all out for a birthday! If you're feeling crafty you could make your own crowns with an Origami Est paper crown kit or if you are feeling especially 'extra' a Sparkle Child crown will definitly make a statement!

Last but not least is bunting! A quick and easy way to 'birthday' up a living room, kitchen or village hall.
My rainbow Happy Birthday bunting is made from birch plywood and comes in cotton storage bag which means it can be used for every family members birthday year after year. It also looks fab paired with my glitter hearts or Mummy's Bubble's felt pom pom garlands.
As many of use are trying to cutdown on buying single use items, I hope you find this round up useful. Now, I just need to remember where I put the box that I put all our Birthday bits in before Max's Birthday comes round!
